Thanks Russell. Well said. And yes... sadly, people are really that stupid. It's been a long term project of a select few to get us there. I was eligible to be drafted for the Viet Nam war. So I got a letter to show up at my local recruiting office. It was a legal notice so I had to go. I only had 1 question for the medal adorned recruiter. It was: "Please tell me why we are fighting in Viet Nam ?" His answer was, "When your country calls you, you must go." So I asked it again. He gave me the same answer. Needless to say, I did not sign up. Newsflash: HE DIDN'T KNOW THE ANSWER !!! And we still don't know the answer. that was the 1960's-70's. 50 years ago. This total mindfuck has been going on for a very long time. Today, right now, seems to be then culmination. And for the record, there has never been a singular, clear, answer to my question. People don't question all our wars. It's freaky !
Because the communists wanted to take over South Vietnam. And, of course, Nixon wanted us there. And probably because we wanted something they had. And for the record, it was officially a “police action”, not a “war”. But you could have fooled me. People killed each other so, for me, it was a war. This probably doesn’t answer your question either. 😞😞
Iraq... weapons of mass destruction. South Vietnam ? No singular reason. And it's still not clear to this day. Question: If the USA wanted to really WIN the 'war' in South Vietnam, don't you think we could have done so... and quickly ? The most devious explanation I've heard about the Vietnam war is that we wanted to show the Russians that were willing to see 50,000 of our soldiers die to prevent the spread of communism. But... the communists won didn't they ?
This is so true. But I own it when I say I was affected by this shot, as you well know. I was disappointed, however, that this was not read by you. I was hoping to hear your voice with this. Oh well, can’t have everything. Sigh.
I almost got through that movie. What horrified me was the thought that my college aged (and attending) kid has had those vacuous vacs and that fibroid shit may kill her.
The whole pandemic thing didn’t pass my smell test and I opted out. But I’m old. And the kid is young.
Russell, thank you always for your clear-eyed analysis of the times we are living through. I am also amazed at how many of my friends and acquaintances have been so completely subsumed by the mainstream narrative, and keep thinking that at some point they will have to wake up and see what's really been going on. But then I read an editorial the other day in a recent issue of a punk rock fanzine called Razorcake that made me realize that some are so completely hypnotized by the information that they are getting from the media that there is probably no hope for them. Interestingly enough, it was a piece talking about how much the writer supports the musicians he likes by buying their physical releases, and how the experience of finding music in a brick and mortar record store is so much more fulfilling than being fed AI recommendations on streaming services such as Spotify. He then goes into a rant about the "tech bros" and how their platforms and algorithms trap us in bubbles and how he tries to avoid this type of influence on his own thinking. But the final paragraph of his page and a half essay starts with this gem: "I also worry that ... we could end up living in a pandemic where, when we finally get the vaccine, thirty percent of the population don't take it because their algorithm-based research fed them a conspiracy. Then that virus would keep mutating, become endemic, and force the rest of us to get repeatedly vaccinated." I had to read that twice... And then I realized that there are people out there, probably a lot, who believe that because of those of us who chose not to participate in this questionable injection program, that they were FORCED to get repeatedly injected. I want to say that this type of insanity is beyond belief, but after almost three years of it I don't think I can say that any more. It just proves to me that there are some who will never be able to be reached and we just have to let them go. Still, this is the first time I've heard this rationale being used by one of the injected, and I wonder where he is getting his way of thinking about the reason for the continued "boosters." Are the mainstream media talking heads saying this? I haven't been paying attention to anything on the MM so don't really know. It really is something to behold.
Well written, and right on. I want to add something on these “unelected bureaucrats”.
-----------------------------------
These “unelected bureaucrats” are also responsible for the massive (about 200 volumes) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), ‘considered’ law, e.g., “The United States Constitution permits federal agencies to promulgate rules to enable Congress' legislation.”
BULL. Article One Section. 1. “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, ...”
----------------------------------------
1) The Constitution is one of explicit granted powers. The “delegation” of legislative powers is not granted within Article One or anywhere else in the Constitution, including amendments.
------------------------------------------
2) Neither “agency” nor “agencies” is found in the Constitution, including amendments, so “... Constitution permits federal agencies ...” blah, blah is an outright lie.
------------------------------------------
3) Congress, ignoring the Constitution, created the Federal Register Act 1935
----------------------------------------
4) Supreme Court, also ignoring Constitution, “recognized the legitimacy of federal administrative agencies”
5) Bottom Line: Federal “Agencies” are unconstitutional and, therefore, so are Agency ”Regulations”. It would have taken an Amendment to authorize delegation and Agencies. Congress did not bother, and the Supremes didn’t care.
My personal theory is it largely involved enriching the MIC, and helping the CIA set up heroin trafficking from the golden triangle.

BTW, my soul mate did two tours in Vietnam. Luckily he came back in one piece.
Glad your SoulMate made it through...
