I’ve been asked a number of times for my take on what is going down in Ukraine. So rather than respond to endless PM’s, I thought I would memorialize it here so I can just direct folks to this blog rather than type it out repeatedly.
The US sponsored a coup in Ukraine in 2014, when the legally elected government was forced to flee during one of the CIA’s infamous “color revolutions” which inevitably result in a pro-Anglo-American interests regime being installed, replete with BIS/Rothschilds controlled central bank. That regime has jailed its opposition as well as any journalists who were critical of it, and has literal card carrying nazis in its ranks. It is not “defending democracy” to “defend Ukraine.” It is defending a number of interests that have nothing to do with democracy.
What do I mean?
Well, the US War Department (now called the Department of Defense) had a bunch of bio-weapons labs in Ukraine, for starters, working on nightmare germ warfare agents (for defensive purposes, they will assure you, just as the gain of function research in Wuhan was for defensive purposes). I say had because it appears that the military strikes in Ukraine just so happened to destroy most or all of them.
Also, Europe gets its natural gas from a bunch of Anglo-American companies that charge multiples of what Russian natural gas costs. The new Nord Stream 2 pipeline that delivers cheap natural gas to the EU will cut into those companies’ profits a whole bunch, and they naturally don’t like that. And Ukraine sees several billion dollars a year from NG transiting, so Ukraine really doesn’t like it.
Ukraine has huge natural resources that the “west” would love to have, just as it really wanted Iraq and Libya’s oil (that it got) and just as it really really wants Syria’s oil (and wanted a pipeline through it) and Venezuela’s oil. None of those countries had BIS/Rothschilds controlled central banks (nor does Cuba or North Korea). But once the US murdered hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and Libyans based on complete fabrications, they now have those. This also explains why North Korea, Venezuela, Syria, and Cuba are always portrayed as monstrous totalitarian regimes, while the monstrous totalitarian regimes the US does support (which is all the rest of them) are never mentioned, because they have BIS/Rothschilds controlled central banks and are “allies” of the US. When the Saudis want to commit genocide in Yemen, the DOD happily supports and enables that with taxpayer dollars and refueling planes and plenty of expensive weapons, but you’ll hardly ever hear about that in the propaganda that passes for news in the “west.”
Basically, the US and its “allies” can invade Iraq and commit mass murder, and that’s celebrated as justified even though it was entirely based on lies. It can sponsor the overthrow of Libya when Qaddafi proposed using a gold-backed dinar for oil trade instead of the dollar, and that is just fine by the “international community.” It can invade Syria in violation of international law, stealing its oil and murdering hundreds of thousands (noticing a pattern here?), and it says with a straight face that it is “freeing the people.” When it murders millions in Vietnam and Laos and Cambodia, it’s “fighting for democracy.”
But when Russia cock-blocks the US from getting away with it in Syria, the US bully boys get really annoyed. When Russia completes its new pipeline that RUNS THROUGH UKRAINE, thereby costing big US/UK corporations money, they get even more annoyed.
But it isn’t 1946 anymore. It isn’t 1962. The US couldn’t defeat the Vietnamese, couldn’t defeat the Afghans after 20 years of trying, and it doesn’t scare Russia in the least, which has hypersonic weapons that would render any thoughts of nuclear war moot. Simply put, Putin made it quite clear that Ukraine could never become part of NATO, couldn’t point missiles at Russia from its border, couldn’t continue to build bio-warfare labs on its soil within rock throwing distance of Russia. The US didn’t listen, as is typical of American exceptionism and the hubris that comes with it.
“When the US does it it’s fine, but anyone else, it isn’t” no longer flies. The dollar is toilet paper the Fed prints in the trillions to bail out Wall Street. 40% of the global trade is now conducted outside the dollar based system. The sanctions being bantied about, like kicking Russia out of the SWIFT system (a Belgian innovation), simply won’t happen, because it would harken the death of the petro-dollar the US empire depends upon.
So it’s all theater. And don’t even get me started on Putin being a graduate of Karl Shwab’s World Economic Forum (along with Trudeau, Merkel, etc.), and thus likely simply playing the role assigned to “the Russian bear” in this chapter of the theatrical farce. Just as the USSR played its assigned role all the while conducting trade in dollars. You really don’t want to think too hard about these things, or you become jaded and cynical, like certain curmudeony authors living their best lives in tropical paradises surrounded by warm water, cold beer, friendly natives, and cheap tacos.
Anyhow, that’s my take on Ukraine. There will be no WW3. There will be a negotiated settlement wherein Ukraine can never be part of NATO, and nobody f#cks with the pipeline. That’s how this plays out.
That is not to say this won’t be devastating to many Ukrainians. Then again, the U.S. government has never much cared about human life, as Iraq, Libya, Syria, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, etc. demonstrate. Gotta break eggs to make omelets, and all. The U.S. government will only pretend to care about Ukrain as long as it serves its propaganda purpose. These are the same folks who’s philosophy was best demonstrated by Madeleine Albright’s response when asked about American sanctions on Iraq resulting in over five hundred thousand children dying: “It was worth it.”
Never mentioned in all this is the Ukraine faux-legit government bombing civilians in the Donbas for the last eight years for having the temerity to not want to be ruled over by illegitimate usurpers.
That’s who you’re dealing with. Now that Assange has been effectively imprisoned for no cause other than revealing U.S. government crimes against humanity, nobody dares speak the truth to power. Which was the whole idea with crushing anyone who did.
So you’re fed a steady stream of lies and propaganda, and told to stop focusing on the deaths and injuries caused by the vaccine bio-weapon, and instead to put all your intellectual might into taking a stand on Ukraine and arguing amongst yourselves.
Works like a charm every frigging time.
@Russell Blake - Very good analysis and thank you for condensing it by stripping out all the BS.
Three things -
One - Nordstream 1 & 2 does not run through Ukraine unless I misunderstood you.
https://dir.md/news/2022/1/25/ukraine-russia-what-is-nord-steam-2-and-why-is-it-contentious
Two - Don't forget US broke our promise to Russia back during Clinton administration. We agreed not to push NATO past the old Warsaw Pact line and yet we did it. Poland is part of NATO.
Three - There are a number of theories that the reason why US wanted to overthrow Syria is to build a pipeline from Saudi Arabia/Iraq to Europe to counter the Russian pipeline. Syria is blocking that from happening.
Well, there goes my vacation in Moldova.
