All con games rely on the confidence (hence, con) of the rubes being suckered, that the con artist is telling the truth.
When you catch the con artists in lies, and they’re in writing or on video, they can’t deny having lied, they can just try to hand wave it all away, or claim something changed.
Nothing changed. They lied. The people you are being assured you should trust and continue listening to are in fact pathological liars, and it is documented.
If you continue to believe pathological liars, you can’t be surprised when you get horribly screwed. Billions are soon to grasp that there is a cost to being credulous, and it can be as high as one’s life.
The old saying, “How many times does one have to be lied to ....” etc. is applicable. Most sub-functional s making such statements are hopeless anyway, e.g., Biden who floats in his own imaginary bubble. But some quoted here, i.e., Bourla, Collens, Fauci, Gates, Maddow, and Walensky give the impression of being reasonably mentally functional and most likely knowingly dishonest, some consistently so, and, therefore, fall not on the far left of the human non-reliability scale, i.e., ignorant, but slam bang at the far right boundary, i.e., malicious / malevolent, driven by their own private agenda. And such as those should pay the cost of resulting deaths.
They really do think you have the memory of a goldfish.
I only wish that so many of the public didn't prove them right.
