One of the scariest realities that the pandemic has brought to the forefront is the lawless nature of our world. We see Assange, an Australian citizen, imprisoned in the UK for a putative violation of US law while not on US soil – a publisher and journalist being persecuted for revealing US war crimes, with the full assistance of the UK. We see politicians routinely flouting mask and distancing and travel laws we are supposed to obey, all the while getting rich while collecting paltry salaries. We see heads of banks committing felonies and getting away with it. We see connected pedophiles suicided in prison in full view of the world without so much as a peep from our leaders or the captured media (many of whom were his buds). We see genocide in places like Yemen and Palestine with the full support of the US government, which claims to be above international law which other countries observe in forums like Le Hague. Basically, the US has declared itself to be completely lawless and unaccountable to anyone - but if you are one of its citizens you live on a prison plantation where your rights are confiscated at will by your masters, and you can be locked down or put out of business or hauled off your land by unelected bureaucrats whenever they declare an emergency of their own devising.
We see a violation of the Nuremberg Code, where informed consent is required for any medical experimentation, and yet the US, UK, and its Anglo/American empire has tossed that in favor of mislabeling an experimental gene therapy (per the FDA) a “vaccine” in an effort to trick the population into believing it is an actual vaccine, with all the testing that implies (spoiler - that testing has been waived due to the “emergency”). It is using statistical trickery and flat-out deceit by pretending that the flood of adverse reactions and deaths being reported to the various databases signify nothing. It simply ignores any data that conflicts with the official narrative. This is the very definition of lawlessness – where those who are supposed to protect the population are instead working to actively harm it.
People don’t want to live in a lawless world, and yet that is what we have allowed to become the norm. A fat, apathetic, lazy population has enabled faceless bureaucrats to usurp their rights, and has acquiesced to routine violations in the name of “safety,” which apparently has no meaning other than as it applies to the .0001% who rule the rest. The inalienable rights Americans claim as theirs can be rescinded at will, as Japanese Americans discovered in the 1940’s. The entire thing is an elaborate sham that collapses in the face of any actual critical thinking or understanding of history.
The seductive appeal of the rule of law is that nobody is above it, and it applies the same to everyone, regardless of station. In our modern feudal society, the king and the nobles can cheerfully ignore the law, as it is only to keep the peasants oppressed lest they get too uppity. This is one of the classic signs of a banana republic, along with rigged elections, hyper-inflating of the currency, fiscal recklessness, violent police state tactics, crumbling infrastructure, endless propaganda insisting all is well, and the vast majority living hand to mouth while the royalty enjoys all the benefits of confiscated riches.
America and its vassal states are lawless criminal cartels pretending to be lawful governments, operating for their populations. They are nothing more than thieves and con artists and extortionists, and that reality has become obvious during the contrived emergency for a bug that kills a fraction of those whom starvation kills due to lockdowns.
The question is what most will do about it. The sad truth is nothing. They’ll gripe a bit, or just keep their heads down hoping the massah doesn’t whip them if they avoid eye contact, but for all the tooth gnashing and fist shaking and insistence that they’re “patriots,” they won’t actually do anything. Which their masters bank on, quite literally. And so it will continue to worsen. There is no other possible outcome. As every fallen empire has learned through history. The tree of liberty requires periodic watering with the blood of tyrants. That eventuality is long gone. I would argue it ended when a president could be assassinated in front of thousands, caught on film, and it’s blamed on a magic bullet without the population rising up with pitchforks and torches. This is the inevitable conclusion of that downward slide. The slope is indeed slippery, and we are now at a point where the state can abuse the population as it likes, secure in the knowledge that it can do so with impunity.
A sadder state of affairs I’ve never seen in my lifetime.
I'm not going to dispute your points I disagree w/ b/c you're way more right than wrong in your latest rand. BUT...
You did miss one point and it's so glaring to me that I gotta bring it up:
IT'S ALWAYS BEEN THIS WAY; WE'RE JUST AWARE OF IT NOW.
Thuggery by the elites has ALWAYS been an element of elite rule. Any cursory historical study will show that quickly. A major diff now is that b/c of tech, alt media has a chance to expose it more today instead of praying that the NY T will cover it.
(Side note: check out Joe Rogan's pod w/ Weinstien & Koury. In it, they make a passing reference to 'TNI': 'Trusted News Initiative'. It's kinda shadowy, but real. The pod talked about how the fight against a powerful treatment of COVID has been shut down. I think you'll enjoy it.)
